Creative Ideas for those hard to buy for people

Creative Ideas for those hard to buy for people

Do you have someone on your shopping list that is hard to buy for? They don't need anything. They have everything. Well maybe they like to be the expert on all things. Someone who doesn't necessarily like to read but loves to learn. Then shoot for books with topics that are in their wheel house. Do they like to garden? How about "The Art of Gardening" by Graham Stuart Thomas? You can get a nice canvas tote with pockets and put gardening tools, a sun hat, water bottle, knee pad etc.

Or do they like to tinker with things? Then how about, " The Art of Fixing Things, Principles of Machines and How to Repair Them, 150 Tips and Tricks" by Lawrence Pierce. Pair that with some work gloves, a tool kit, beer or a beer cozy, and man cave sign.

Or another idea for the younger child. Do they LOVE superheroes. Then "The Superbook for Super Heroes" would be perfect. It lets them create super heroes by drawing and coming up with their powers. Pair that with a cape and mask that they can decorate themselves and you've made a friend for life.

Do they like adventures? How about, "Lonely Planet's Best In Travel 2015, The Best Trends, Destinations, Journeys and Experiences for the year ahead"?  Add a compass, binoculars, travel hat and you have a clever gift.

Just a walk through Barnes and Noble should spark some creativity. They have a great section of reduced priced books. So take a chance and skip the gift card this year.
